Kebbi gov condoles family of late Dr. Dakingari

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, was in Dakingari on Tuesday, to condole with the family of late Dr. Abubakar Bawa Dakingari, who died on Monday following a protracted illness at the Usmanu Dan Fodio Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.

The Governor was received at the family home of the deceased by the former Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Sa’idu Nasamu Dakingari, the Chairmen of Dandi and Bagudo Local Governments, Alhaji Garba Salihu Dila, Alhaji Muhammadu Kaura Dan Hikimi, family members and other relatives.

Bagudu prayed Allah to forgive late Dr. Abubakar Bawa Dakingari, grant him eternal rest in Aljannar Firdaus and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Earlier, Malan Umar Shago, Sarkin Malamai, offered prayers for the repose of the deceased and also prayed for sustenance of peace and unity in Kebbi and Nigeria.

The late Medical Doctor died at the age of 45 years.

He is survived by one wife and a child.

Until his death, Dr. Dakingari was in charge of Kebbi Vesicovaginal Fistula (VVF), Center, where he had successfully performed surgical operations to many women, who suffered from VVF, within and outside the state, at the center.

The governor was accompanied on the trip by the Hon Commissioner for Health, Jafar Muhammad, Special Adviser on Power, Alhaji Haruna Rashid and the Overseer of Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Haruna Abubakar Maitandu.
