KAURA: Continuity, Innovation, Quality and Speed

Alhamdulillah. The jobs that our Governor is doing are worth showing to the world.

Four things stand out in his projects: Continuity, innovation, quality and speed. He has continued the projects of his predecessor, His Excellency, MA Abubakar. He also started his own projects in various parts of the state. The works are of high standard. Finally, he executes them speedily, with the meagre resources at hand, completing many already at a cost substantially lesser than previous rates.

As I drove into Bauchi this morning, I could not lose sight of the huge trenches excavated on the additional lane at Miri along Jos dual-carriage way and the layer of damp proof sheets laid before laterite is deposited and compacted above to ensure the stability of the substructure. This is highly commendable.

He has completed the Federal Lowcost road that defied the effort of the previous administration, started and completed the Sabon Kaura road and Gombe-Maiduguri byepass. Two township roads are dissecting the dense areas of the city and another links Tambaru and Sabon Kaura. A southern byepass linking Jos Road – Gombe Road through railway is in the pipeline. This is not to mention the numerous rural roads, both new and inherited, in various parts of the state.

I am afraid – or do I say happy ? – that if he does not relent, by the end of eight years, God willing, he is likely to beat the record of one the best governors we had, Ahmed Adamu Muazu.

Bauchi is back on track. May God continue to bless the effort of His Excellency, Kauran Bauchi, keep him focussed, accept his good intentions and reward his efforts abundantly.

Come with me in these videos and enjoy a ride on some three completed Bauchi metropolis roads I have sampled this morning. 👇
