The Katsina State government under the leadership of Governor Aminu Bello Masari has announced its decision to sue Kaduna based businessman Mahdi Shehu before a court of law.
Shehu, a self-described whistleblower, has been issuing series of clips purportedly exposing the corrupt acts of the Katsina State government.
Katsina State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Ahmad El-Marzuq disclosed this to journalists during a press conference.
According to the commissioner two cases will be filed against Mahdi Shehu – one on cybercrime and the other on forgery and incitement at Federal High Court Katsina and a state High Court respectively.
