Kano reports 80 new infections as Nigeria COVID-19 cases near 2000

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 204 new cases of COVID-19, with 80 in Kano, 45 in Lagos, 12 in Gombe, nine in Bauchi and nine in Sokoto.

There were also seven fresh cases in Borno, seven in Edo, six in Rivers, six in Ogun, four in FCT, four in Akwa Ibom, four in Bayelsa, three in Kaduna, two Oyo, two in Delta, two in Nasarawa, one in Ondo and one in Kebbi.

With this latest report by NCDC, which was released at 11:50pm, April 30, total cases of coronavirus have reached 1932, while 319 were discharged and 58 deaths recorded.

Also, 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria have recorded at least one confirmed case of #COVID19 71% of all cases are from three states. Kogi and Cross River are yet to report any case.
