The Kano State Commissioner of Police Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko has distributed palliatives to widows of 26 personnel who lost their lives in active service.
The commissioner was represented at the event by the Commanding Officer, No. 9 PMF Squadron Kano, ACP Shu’aibu Bello, according to a statement by the Kano police spokesman DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa on Friday.
Prayers were offered for the late patriots while the parliatives were distributed to the widows by Hajiya Rashidat Bello, wife of the Commanding Officer 9PMF, Kano and Barr. Maimuna Umar, member Kano State Community Policing Committee. May the departed souls rest in peace.
