Kano CP decorates newly promoted PRO, 30 other senior officers

The Kano State Commissioner of Police (CP) Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko has decorated newly promoted Senior Police Officers serving in Kano State Police Command with their new ranks.

Those decorated include two Superintendents of Police (SPs) who were decorated with the rank of Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) and 29 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) with the rank of Superintendents of Police (SPs).

Those promoted from Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) are: Bashir Musa Gwadabe and Alhaji Sanusi Musa.

Those promoted from DSP to SP include Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the Public Relations Officer of the command. Others are Umar Lawal, Nasiru Danladi, Ibrahim Halliru Jere, Murtala Gidado, Zubairu Abdulwahab, Muhammed Kanoma Abdulrahman, Mukhtar Abdulkareem Nasiru, Garba Aliyu Surajo, Adamu Pindiga Musa, Abdulmalik Abubakar, Paul Nweni Osi, Mohammed Fagam Murtala and Ntum Onyekachi.

The rest are: Michael Adeolu Akano, Naseer Balarabe Muhammed, Jamilu Bala Jibrin, Mu’azu Marafa Ansar, Muhammad Achida A. Aliyu, Safiyanu Mustapha, Abubakar Sahabi, Aminu Sani, Mohammed Iro Gezawa, Na’if Usman Daura, Mohammed Haruna, Abdul Halliru, Umar Zubairu, Dansarai Jabir Usman and Abdulqadir Abubakar Usman.

In his remark, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko congratulated the newly promoted officers, noting that higher rank comes with higher responsibilities and challenges.

He charged the officers to put in their best in the task ahead and operate with the fear of God. The CP also, applauded the Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman, for recommending the officers and following up to Police Service Commission for their promotion.

In his remark while giving vote of thanks, newly decorated CSP Bashir Musa Gwadabe, O/C Anti Daba Squad, said “this promotion will no doubt give us courage, more morale, and will boast our efforts in fighting crimes.

“We promise to be hard working, discipline, dedicated and operate with the fear of almighty Allah. All those that witness this event, we wish you journey mercy back to your various destinations. Thank You and God Bless You All.”
