Authorities in Nigeria’s northern state of Kano say they have seized 28 cartons of fake “sex enhancers” from a shop in the city centre.
An official at the state’s road traffic agency told the BBC that the shop was raided after a tip-off and the owner of the shop was arrested.
The sex enhancers were in the form of tablets which have now been handed over to the country’s health ministry for thorough checks, the official said.
He did not say how they checked the drugs were fake.
