The Chairman, Kaduna North Local Government Hon Muktar Baloni has distributed empowerment items to various beneficiaries across the 12 wards that make up the LGA.
The items, which include industrial sewing machines, manual sewing machines, grinding machines and power generators, were distributed on behalf of the chairman by the Kaduna North LG Secretary Mustapha Zukogi on Tuesday.
The secretary said the distribution of the items is one of the many projects being executed by the Baloni administration to empower the people and make them self-reliant.
One of the beneficiaries of the programme, Ahmad Lawal Abubakar, a tailor, thanked the chairman and promised to put to good use the industrial sewing machine he received.
