The father of Kaduna Central Senator-elect Lawal Adamu Usman, popularly known as Mr LA, has passed on.
Liman Adamu Usman was a former Sharia Court Judge and the Chief Imam of Jere town in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Family sources informed Dateline Nigeria that the late Imam died early Sunday morning and his funeral prayers (janaza) will hold later today after Zuhr (noon) prayer in Jere town.
Dateline Nigeria reports that Mr LA was kn Saturday, February 25 elected as the Senator to represent Kaduna Central Senatorial District under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
