Kaduna – Armed bandits have attacked a commercial vehicle around Yakwo village in Chikun local government area, killing three passengers.
The victims have been identified as Rilwanu Mohammed, Mardiyya Ibrahim and Ja’afaru Makarfi.
Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwan, who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, said “Investigations into the incidents are in progress, as troops intensify patrols in the general areas.”
Similarly, armed bandits, in the early hours of Saturday, invaded Baka village, Igabi local government area, shooting sporadically before breaking into the residence of one Dan’Azumi Musa, a farmer.
The statement said the farmer and his son, Sanusi Dan’Azumi, were both shot dead after a failed attempt to kidnap them.
