Kaduna assembly declares former speaker’s seat vacant

The Kaduna State House of Assembly has declared the seat of its former Speaker Aminu Shagali vacant for absenteeism.

The assembly said Shagali has been absent from all its activities since his resignation for more than a year without any reason.

It asked the Clerk of the Assembly to communicate with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hold re-run for the seat.
