President Muhammadu Buhari was among high profile Nigerians that graced the wedding of the son of Taraba State Governor, Ikan-Tubul Darius Ishaku and Zulaihatu Hannatu Ibrahim.
Represented by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. LEO Irabor, the President was joined by his predecessor, former President Goodluck Jonathan, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and the Gov. Nasiru el-Rufa’i of Kaduna State.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, the deputy governors of Adamawa, Borno and Taraba were also at the Saviours Anglican Church in Kaduna where the marriage was solemnized.
The former Governor of Gombe, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, was also in attendance.
President Buhari congratulated the families of the couple, as he used the occasion to seek support of Nigerians in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
Similarly, former President Jonathan wished the couple a successful married life.
In a vote of thanks, the father of the groom, Governor Darius Ishaku expressed gratitude to Governor Bala and other high profile personalities for attending the wedding.
