Dr. Jamilu Ishiyaku Gwamna (Sardaunan Gombe) has visited Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at the Gombe Governor’s lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
The two met today Monday, December 5 for about 2 hours behind closed doors.
Sources said the meeting, coming on the heels of an earlier one between Jamilu Gwamna and the APC Vice Presidential Candidate, Sen. Kashim Shettima in Abuja, is preparatory to the former’s return to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Gwamna had in February this year dumped the ruling APC for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest Gombe State gubernatorial seat in 2023.
However, he lost the ticket to a former Managing Director of Sun Trust Bank, Muhammad Barde, who scored 160 out of the total votes cast. Gwamna polled 119 votes.
