Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, the National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), popularly known as Izala, has led a delegation of the group on a visit to Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai.
The delegation was in Kaduna to offer words of support for peace in Kaduna State.
El-Rufai, on his Facebook page, said the Kaduna State Government “welcome their counsel and we thank all leaders of faith that are helping to nudge people towards better compliance with the values of peace, fairness and compassion.”
Dateline Nigeria reports that Sheikh Kabiru Gombe, a popular preacher in the group, was in the delegation.
