Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has said that he is still a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Fani-Kayode is responding to reports that he is on the verge of leaving the PDP after his visit to Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and the caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mai Mala Buni.
“Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation I have not left the PDP,” Fani-Kayode said.
Dateline Nigeria reports that pictures of the meeting between the former minister and the APC chieftains generated divergent views, with many APC supporters asking the party not to accept the former minister into its fold.
