Hisbah summons American woman, young Kano lover
The Kano State Hisbah Board has met with an American woman, Janine Sanchez and her young Kano lover, Isah Sulaiman behind closed doors at their Panshekara Office in Kano
Details of the meeting remain sketchy at press time but it may not be unconnected to the reported plans by the 46-year-old American woman and her 23-year-old lover to get married in March this year after a brief courtship on the internet.
The meeting was attended by Isah’s father Sulaiman and his brother.
Answering questions from journalists, Alhaji Sulaiman promised to give his son the necessary support to marry his heartthrob and travel with her to the United States.
Isah’s mother had earlier given her blessings to the wedding plans of her son.
Dateline Nigeria reports that the relationship between Janine and Isah, which started on Instagram, has continued to draw different reactions from Nigerians, especially on the social media.
