Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 12 Bauchi, Audu Madaki was on Tuesday attacked and injured by gunmen on his way to Abuja.
His orderly was however killed by the gunmen around Barde Jagindi area in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State on the Jos-Abuja highway.
The AIG is reportedly receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
