Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has visited Kofato forest in Janjalata, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State as part of his visits to Fulani settlements with the aim of teaching them about religion and taking them away from crime.
This is even as the Islamic scholar marched his words with action by laying the foundation for a school, hospital and grazing area in Jere, all in an effort to end insecurity on the Abuja-Kaduna highway and other communities.
The project has been named Sheikh Usman bn Fodio Center (Kagarko Grazing Reserve).
Before entering the Kofato forest, Gumi and his team visited the traditional ruler of Kagarko where he informed him of his mission.
