Deputy gov urges him to consolidate on existing relationship between Gombe State and Bachama kingdom
Gombe State government has congratulated the new Bachama Monarch,and Paramount ruler of the Bwatiye nation, Homun Daniel Shaga Ismaila over recent coronation and presentation with a First Class Staff of Office.
Conveying the congratulatory message to the Monarch at his palace in Numan, Adamawa State, the Gombe State Deputy Governor, Manassah Daniel Jatau, ( Ph.D),
explained that owing to serious official commitments during the coronation ceremony they couldn’t attend but, considering the cordial relationship existing between the state and the Bachama nation, the Governor deemed it necessary to delegate them on behalf of the government and good people of Gombe State as a demonstration of their love for the kingdom.
Dr. Jatau noted with delight the established rapport between them over time, urging the Hama Bachama to consolidate on existing harmony and understanding towards sustainable peace, unity and progress.
He described the new Bachama Ruler as a great personality with penchant for progress and development, who would not relent in fostering unity and development within his people and their brothers from Gombe state whom they share borders with.
The Deputy Governor assured the monarch of continued support and cooperation of the neighbouring communities, especially those from Gombe state for stronger relationship towards betterment of the lives of the people.
In their separate remarks, the Bala Waja, Alh. Danjuma Muhammad, the Folo Dadiya, Alh. Abdulkadir Abubakar Galadima, and the Nidu Grah Cham, Dr. James D. Chachis appreciated the harmonious relationship existing between their communities and the Bachama kingdom.
They emphasized the need for the new ruler to maintain the tempo by ensuring the continuity of the age long friendship enjoyed during the reign of their ancestors, assuring him of full support in sustaining peace, unity, security and socio-economic interactions for the benefit of all.
Responding, the Hama Bachama appreciated the visit and show of concern by the government and people of Gombe State to identify with him and members of his kingdom over his coronation.
The Paramount ruler averred that such gesture will pave way for cohesion, as well as provide conducive atmosphere for understanding and development of communities involved.
He assured them of his commitment to ensure that the harmony and cordial relationship that existed from time immemorial between Gombe state and Bachama Kingdom is sustained for the socio-economic development of the people in the area.
