Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has confirmed that four persons died and at least 11 people were hospitalized from burns following an explosion at Gas Plant in Agbor on Friday.
Governor Okowa disclosed this while addressing newsmen shortly after visiting the affected gas plant, the destroyed properties and the families of victims.
The Governor stated that the survivors were referred to a specialised centre for the treatment of burns at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) for further treatment — as they suffered various degrees of burns.
