The Vice – Chancellor Federal University Dutse (FUD), Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed has ordered for the immediate illumination of the entire campus in order to provide conducive atmosphere for students at night and to also give a sense of security to all and sundry.
The VC gave the order after touring the campus at night said he was unsatisfied with the level of illumination in the university

He said that apart from illuminating the faculties, students centre, University clinic area, he has also ordered the immediate fixing of all the street lights on campus.
The Deputy Director in charge of Maintenance, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim said his unit has swung into action and the illumination of the campus is ongoing adding that they are working to fix the street lights.
