A media assistant to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been arrested by the Deparment of State Services (DSS).
Salihu Tanko Yakasai had earlier taken a swipe at the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), accusing its members holding leadership positions in the country of failing to protect lives and property after over 300 hundred schoolgirls were abducted in Zamfara.

“Clearly, we as APC government, at all levels, have failed Nigerians in the number 1 duty we were elected to do which is to secure lives & properties. Not a single day goes by without some sort of insecurity in this land. This is a shame! Deal with terrorists decisively or resign,” he had tweeted.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to social media to call for the immediate and unconditional release of the outspoken aide, who was once suspended by his principal for openly hitting the president on twitter.
