FG fixes fuel price at N143.80 per litre

The Petroleum Products Pricing Monitoring Agency, PPPRA, on Wednesday, fixed the pump price of petroleum at between N140.80 and N143.80 for the month of July.

This is coming on the same day the lifting of the ban on interstate travel by the Federal Government.

The PPPRA, in a circular dated July 1, 2020 to marketers, said, “After a review of the prevailing market fundamentals in the month of June and considering marketers’ realistic operating costs, as much as practicable, we wish to advise a new PMS pump price band of N140.80-N143.80 per litre for the month of July 2020.”

The agency had pegged the price of petrol to N121.5 per litre for the month of June.
