Edo – The New Year came with glad tidings for many. But what a man identified as Ndubisi got on that day were probably more than what he prayed for.
On that fateful day, his wife Rita, already a mother of five, gave birth to four babies (quadruplet) at the General Hospital along Nomayo in Upper Sakponba Road, Benin city, Edo State.
But as the babies ‘appeared’ their father ‘disappeared’ with no trace.
A facebooker Sarah Az Izevbgie brought Rita’s story to limelight, appealing to Nigerians to help the woman.
“She needs help and assistance from me and all well meaning Nigerians out there. Diapers, baby food, baby clothes, wipes, money will be well appreciated as her hospital bill is yet to be settled.

Dateline Nigeria reports that as some people have started donating, others have started accusing Sarah or trying to make money out of the woman’s situation.
Sarah, in response to some of the accusations, said “For those saying I want to scam them that they will need a video of the woman confirming her account details. I was able to send my kid sister to go make the video today and here it is.”
