The Managing Director, Kaduna Market Development and Management Company, Hafiz Bayero, was on Monday involved in a car crash on the Kaduna-Abuja highway.
The company, which confirmed this on its Facebook page, said “Our Managing director, Hafiz Bayero actually had an accident with his driver today. But he is stable and gradually recovering.

“We pray that the Almighty grant him rapid recovery.
We appreciate your prayers.”
Dateline Nigeria reports that there were rumours making the rounds that Bayero had died in the accident.
A son of the Kaduna State Governor, Bello, while denying the death rumour, said on Twitter that “El-Rufai’s aide and our brother Hafiz Bayero is very much alive. He and his driver had a bad accident.
“He is in stable condition and under the care excellent doctors. Death will come to all of us at some point.”
Bayero got married recently.
