Davido postpones tour as coronavirus hits entertainment events

Nigeria’s superstar singer David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has postponed his music tour in North America and Canada due to coronavirus fears as the disease spreads across the world.

The tour was earlier slated for end of March and beginning of April, meaning rhat the musuc star is bound to lose money as many ticket buyers may demand for refund.

The coronavirus, as reported by the BBC also, has badly damaged the entertainment industry – with films, concerts, TV shows and theatre performances postponed or cancelled.

In the music world, live concerts have also been largely postponed.

Tours affected include Billie Eilish, Cher, Kiss, Post Malone, Chris Stapleton and many others.

America’s Got Talent stopped filming with live audiences, while some shows such as The Price Is Right suspended production for two weeks.

In addition to live talk shows, several dramas and comedies currently in production suspended filming, including NCIS, The Good Fight and Apple’s The Morning Show, which stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.
