Six patients have recovered from the coronavirus disease after treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Yaba, Lagos and will be discharged on Friday.
Lagos State Commissioner of Health Professor Akin Abayomi in an interview with a radio state Nigeria Info on Thursday.
The information was first announced by the Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Health, Tunde Ajayi, on Twitter.
“Six of our #COVID19 inpatients have recovered and will be discharged soon. There is something Lagos is doing right. Lagos takes the lead,” tweeted.
Lagos has so far recorded the most confirmed cases of the COVID-19. Out of the 51 cases confirmed so far, Lagos accounts for 32, while Abuja has 10 and Ogun three. Ekiti, Edo, Oyo, Osun, Bauchi and Rivers have one each.
