Court jails Cameroonian for human trafficking in Kano

A Federal High Court in Kano has sentenced a Cameroonian to 15 years in jail over human trafficking.

Hoth Simplice-Patrick, 36, and resident of Sabon Gari Kano was arraigned by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Justice Sa’adatu Ibrahim-Mark handed the sentence without any option of fine, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported.
