President Muhammadu Buhari will meet the rescued students of Government Science Secondary School Kankara in Katsina tomorrow (Friday), the Secretary to the Katsina State Government Mustapha Inuwa has said.
Inuwa disclosed this while speaking on the BBC Hausa Service on Thursday, adding that the students were being taken from Tsafe in Zamfara State to the Katsina city and were expected to reach Thursday night.
Boko Haram had earlier released a video showing the abducted students who begged the government to work for the release.
Dateline Nigeria also learnt that parents in Kankara town are already getting ready for the arrival of their children tomorrow.
One of the parents told our reporter that they have been asked to converge on the local government secretariat on Friday.
