Buhari should also condole with us over our losses in Kannywood – Mansurah Isah

Kannywood’s actress Mansurah Isah has said that President Muhammadu Buhari should start condoling with them over their losses in the Northern film industry, just like its southern .

The actress spoke via a post on her Instagram page in reaction to a statement issued by presidential spokesman Femi Adesina condoling with the family and friends of Sound Sultan who died recently.

“Baba Buhari, you have never condoled with us over deaths in Kannywood. But you are always among the first to do so when it happens to southerners.

“If you don’t identify with your own people, who will you identify with? Dr Zainab Shinkafi and our mother Aisha Buhari are the only ones supporting us and we appreciate them.

“We will feel happy if you show us love Baba Buhari. Whatever we get, we bring it to the north for the people to benefit. Please look into this Baba.

“Bashir Ahmad [Personal Assistant to President Buhari on Digital and New Media], you should be the one doing this, because Adesina is doing it for the good of his people.

“I also believe you know the struggle we face because of this government, despite the insults directed at us because of you. So we are waiting for your condolences, especially on the death of our mother Haj Zainab Booth.”

Dateline Nigeria reports that Mansurah Isah, who reportedly separated from her husband Sani Danja after about 13 years of marriage recently, has 1.4 million followers on Instagram.
