President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday received the renowned Islamic Scholar and Leader of Tijaniyya Sect Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi at the State House.
The religious scholar had earlier promised to meet the president to protest the killing of his members while travelling through Plateau State on Saturday.
Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, who had also asked the members not to take the law into their hands, urged the government to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of the attack.
