President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Bashir Ahmad as his Special Assistant on Digital Communications.
Bashir Ahmad was the President’s Personal Assistant on New Media before he resigned to contest for a House of Representatives ticket in Kano State.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, confirmed the appointment in a letter of appointment addressed to Mr Ahmad, dated July 20, 2022.
In the letter sighted by NAN on Sunday in Abuja, Mr Mustapha said the appointment took effect from July 19, 2022.
