Bauchi gov’s son Shamsudeen bags traditional title

A son of Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed will on Saturday, December 19 be turbanned as the Dangaladiman Duguri by the District Head of Duguri Ibrahim Y. M. Baba.

Announcing the coming ceremony on his twitter handles, Shamsudeen said “my turbaning ceremony has been slated for Saturday, 19th of December 2020 by His Eminence the District head of Duguri His royal Highness Ibrahim Y. M. Baba.

“I have been confered with the prestigious title of Dangaladiman Duguri, your presence all will be highly appreciated and moreover, those who won’t be able to make it, I please urge you all to pray for us to be able to celebrate in peace and for all our exalted guests to get back to their respective destinations in peace.”

Dateline Nigeria reports that Duguri, in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, is the hometown of Governor Bala Mohammed.

Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed, an engineer, is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged money laundering.
