A team of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwarts visited former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd.).
The stalwarts, under the umbrella of PDP 2019 Election Review Committe said the visit was to solici for his support.
the Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, who led the team thanked the former military leader for granting them audience.
The meeting which had in attendance former governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Babangida Aliyu of Niger, former Minister of Special Duties and Chairman PDP Ministers Forum Tanimu Turaki, DanMasanin Gwandu (SAN) and others was held at IBB’s Minna Hilltop residence.
Addressing journalists after the meeting, Bauchi state governor said they visited IBB to solicit for his support in discharging the responsibilities assigned to the committee.
He expressed confidence that with the outcome of the Edo Election 2020, the PDP will record similar victory in Ondo State.
