APC youth leader hails Bauchi gov for allocating house to late Buhari supporter

Bauchi State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Nasiru Umar Gwallaga, also known as (A kasa A tsare) has commended Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed for allocating a three-bedroom house to late Abdulwahab Gambo, a popular supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Gambo, a diehard supporter of Buhari, had sold his house to campaign for Buhari and moved with his family to a rented apartment where he died.

After his death, former Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar allocated a house to the family of late Gambo, but it was revoked and given to someone because it was not formalized by the government.

When Governor Bala Mohammed heard about the incident from his Senior Special Assistant on Projects Monitoring Alhaji Musa Ahmed Azare, he allocated another house to the family and paid the required amount with a pledge to fence the house.

Gwallaga said they are very happy with the allocation of the house to the family of late Gambo, an illustrious son of Bauchi, a person who contributed to the development of the state and democracy.

He thanked all Nigerians who supported the family of their late leader Gambo in oneway or the other.

The letter of allocation

Alhaji Musa Azare, on behalf of the Bauchi governor, handed over the allocation letter for the of three-bedroom at Larix site Shehu Wunti Housing Estate to the eldest son of late Gambo.

Azare said the governor, in his continuation of his owner occupier policy, has approved the allocation of house No B 32 three-bedroom out of the 52 units constructed houses at the above stated housing estate.

He said the approved cost of the house is N5.5mn via letter number MH/GEN/423Vol.1 allocated to late Abdulwahab Gambo Baba Mai Alkalami signed by Yakubu Jibrin Abdullahi, and explained that Governor Bala Mohammed will pay the money from his pocket and fence the house for the family.

Receiving the allocation letter in front of the house, Nura Abdulwahab Gambo expressed their gratitude to the governor and all that contributed in one way or the other to alleviate their suffering.

Nura said they will make the best use of the house and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward the governor abundantly for his kind gesture.
