APC dissolves Oshiomhole’s NWC, appoints Buni CTC chair

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the dissolution of the Adams Oshiomhole-led National Working Committee (NWC).

The party also appointed the Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni as caretaker chairman, while a convention will hold in six months.

These were some of the resolutions reached at the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party which was called by the Victor Giadom led faction the party.

President Muhammadu Buhari and many governors of the party as well as lawmakers attended the virtual meeting.

The governors are those of Kebbi, Jigawa, Ekiti, Plateau, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Osun, Gombe, Imo, Lagos, Kwara, and Kano.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan, House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila also attended. The governors are those of Nasarawa, Niger, Jigawa, Yobe, Plateau, Kogi, Imo, Gombe, Osun, Ogun, Lagos, Kwara, Ekiti, Kano and Kebbi.
