APC chieftain Inuwa Abdulkadir dies at 54

A former National Vice Chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir has died.

The former Minister of Youth Affairs and Social Development during the Goodluck Jonathan administration reportedly died Monday morning in Sokoto after a brief illness.

Abdulkadir was a member of the National Working Committee of the APC led by Adams Oshiomohole recently dissolved by the party.

Born Wednesday, January 12, 1966, Abdulkadir held the traditional title of Magatakarda under the Sultan of Sokoto.

It would be recalled that in 2017, Kaduna State Government demolished his house located on Yakubu Avenue in the Kaduna metropolis.

Abdulkadir accused the Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i of demolishing his house for political reasons after the North West office of the APC quashed the suspension of Senator Shehu Sani and others.

The state government however denied any political motive for its action, insisting that the building was pulled down for breaching the law.
