Alleged N800m investment: Osinbajo’s daughter reacts

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s daughter Kikiola, simply known as Kiki, has reacted to a social media posting by the publisher of Pointblank News Jackson Ude asking how she came about the money she allegedly invested in her Abuja-based Glam’d Africa Beauty House.

Ude had on Friday tweeted, “How did Kiki Osinbajo, VP Osinbajo’s daughter, earn N800million she invested in the property housing her Glam’d Africa Beauty House in Abuja on 10 Durban Street, Wuse 2. Abuja?”

The post was accompanied by photos of the building.

However, apparently responding to the post by Ude, the VP’s daughter posted on her Instagram page that “For me it is completely unbelievable that a grown man will sit in his home and lie about me; a grown man who possibly has children my age! Like many young women in Nigeria, I work hard

“It may be difficult for people like him to understand that a young woman can work hard and succeed on her own steam. Anyone can verify the ownership of the property of Glamd Africa at AGIS in Abuja. I am a tenant in the property. My landlord’s name is Musa Adams.”

Dateline Nigeria reports that Glam’d Africa Beauty House founded by Kiki Osinbajo opened the flagship store at 40 Durban Street, Wuse 2, Abuja in September 2017.

The landlord of the property housing Osinbajo’s beauty house, Dr Ayuba Musa, has also released a statement saying his property was never, at any point in time, sold to the Vice President’s daughter or to anyone.

Ude had earlier accused the vice president of receiving N4bn from the embattled chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Ibrahim Magu, an allegation Osinbajo denied and even asked the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu to investigate.
