First Lady Aisha Buhari has hosted female members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), National Assembly and wives of legislators to an Iftar dinner.
The President’s wife disclosed this on her social media handles where she also shared some pictures from the dinner.
The wives of the legislators were led by the wife of the Speaker, House of Representatives, Mrs. Salamatu Gbajabiamila, while the female members of FEC were represented by the Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen and that of Trade & Investment, Amb. Maryam Katagum, and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi Esan
“This is in keeping to the tradition of the blessed month of Ramadan, to love one another among other virtues of the holy month.
“I appreciate the presence of the wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, the former First Lady of the Republic of Niger, Dr. Lalla Malika Yousoufou, and the Wife of Governor of Imo State, Mrs. Chioma Uzodinma,” Aisha Buhari said.
