Adamawa governor inspects 60-bed hospital project in Shelleng

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on Thursday, inspected the ongoing construction of 60-bed cottage hospital and township road in Shelleng Local Government Area.

The projects were given by the present administration in 2020 and have now reached about 90% completion.

Fintiri commended the contractors for working according to contract specifications and working towards stipulated time as most of the work has reached a reasonable stage of completion.

He revealed that the confine fence and Staff Quarters will soon be constructed at the Cottage Hospital, subsequently government will plant equipment for the hospital to commence operation.

The governor paid homage to Amna Shelleng, Alhaji Abdullahi Isa Dason at his palace.

He assured the Royal Father of his administration determination to award more projects in Shelleng within the available resources, calling on the people to assist the Government in maintaining security in the area.

Speaking on behalf of Amna Shelleng, Magajin Garin Shelleng, Alhaji Habibu Isa Dason applauded the Governor for carrying and conducting a development project for the people of Shelleng that they did not bargain for and assured their support to the governor.
