A/Court upholds Oshiomhole’s suspension as Obaseki quits APC

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is even as Governor Godwin Obaseki quit the APC in his quest to run for second term in office. He was disqualified by APC and is set to contest under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

A three member panel of justices led by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem dismissed Oshiomhole’s appeal challenging his suspension as “unmeritorious.”

Obaseki was earlier at the State House where he met with the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Gambari.
