774k jobs: Borno flags off registration for 27,000 youths

Borno State government has launched the registration of 27,000 youths to be empowered through an Extended Special Public Works Programme of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).

Commissioner of agriculture and Natural Resources, Engr Bukar Talba launched the programme in Wednesday in Kaga local government of northern Borno.

Talba is the Chairman, Borno state Selection Committee of the Extended Special Public Works Programme.

Talbla was accompanied by Members of his Committee.

Each Local Government in the state is expected to have 1000 Beneficiaries to be selected amongst most vulnerable population from which 45% will be women.
