A Second Republic member of the House of Representatives from Kano State, Dr. Junaidu Mohammed, has passed on. He was 71.
The Russian trained neurologist died of Covid-19 complications Thursday night in Kano. His funeral prayer will take place Friday morning.
Mohammed was a member of the House of Representatives in 1979 and 1983 on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP.
He is survived by a wife and four children.
