- Copies to be shared at inauguration
Media associates, amongst them immediate past media appointees and social media promoters of Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum on Friday announced a new publication titled PZ REVIEW- Inauguration Edition.
The publication contains 830 pictures taken from over 700 capital projects executed by Governor Zulum in his first term.
Editor-In-Chief of the publication, Malam Isa Gusau, revealed in a statement that photographers working with the governor where brought together and assigned to go round and take photos of key projects, out of which many were left out due to limited space.
Gusau praised the editorial board members especially the consulting editor, Dr Sharafa Dauda of the University of Maiduguri and the likes of Abdurrahman Ahmed Bundi, Mohammed Alhaji Gana Manga, Lawan Alhaji Mustapha, Buba Saleh and Auwal Zubairu Azah who he sent round local government areas to collate photos of the projects.
The Editor-In-Chief also praised deputy editors Babashiekh Haruna and Lanre Onadiah as well as contributing photo editors: Habu Tijjani Kale Yajiwa, Dogo M. Shettima and Mohammed Z. Kormi.
He explained that the newest edition is the sixth publication from 2019 to date, produced on the activities of the governor by the press unit of the Government House.
Making copious reference from the publication’s editorial, Isa Gusau said in his statement:
“We welcome you to this Anniversary Edition of PZ REVIEW!”
“This is a photo-only edition. It is without published articles, commentaries or speeches. It comprises 830 photos taken from over 700 capital projects executed in the First Term of Professor Zulum’s four-year administration, from May 29, 2019 to May 29, 2023.”
“This current edition is unlike all our previous publications.”
“As Governor Babagana Umara Zulum and his Deputy, Umar Usman Kadafur, enter their Second Term on May 29, 2023, we thought it might be worthwhile to pictorially compile physical projects during the First Term, as we hopefully look forward to a glorious Second Term during which the governor aims to surpass his outstanding record.”

Meanwhile, copies of the photo-only inauguration edition of the PZ REVIEW are expected to be distributed during the swearing of Professor Zulum and his deputy on May 29, 2023, insha’Allah.
Editor in Chief, Malam Isa Gusau, said the publication, like others before it, will serve for record keeping, for preservation of Professor Zulum’s legacy and and for posterity.
