No fewer than 17 monarchs joined thousands of mourners the funeral prayer of late Emir of Dutse Dr Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi.
The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu led a presidential delegation to the funeral prayers, which was led by the Chief Imam of Dutse central mosque Dr Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu at the Eid ground in Dutse, the jigawa state capital. He was buried in Kargo, Dutse central cemetery.
Those at the funeral prayers include former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar and Namadi Sambo,, APC vice presidential candidate Kashim Shetima, governors of Jigawa and Sokoto.and former Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Abubakar.
Emirs that attended the funeral.prayers included Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar (Sultan of Sokoto), Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero (Kano), Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero (Bichi), Amb Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli (Zazzau).
Others are emirs of Hadeja, Gumel, Kazaure, Bichi, Gaya, Rano, Karaye. Funakaye, Ningi, Kaltungo, Machina, Das, and Kanam.
The Late Emir of Dutse died at the age of 78 in Abuja after a brief illness, and
. Late Dr Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi is survived by two wives, 13 children and many grandchildren.
